Our Mission
Good education is good light because good education seeks truth honestly. Dayspring is committed to helping children discover and recognize truth in all of their studies and become truth seekers. We delight in the Montessori way which naturally opens the way for children to think and develop and consider and apprehend the world around them with their own minds. The Montessori way constantly bridges between the abstract and conceptual and the tangible and concrete. It is through manipulation and consideration of the work materials that the children discover concepts. In this way, these concepts always are connected via the materials to the real world.
We help children learn good values and make good choices. We provide the way for them to learn to want to be good citizens. A good young citizen will consider the needs of others and be willing to help and often share. As good citizens, we do not consider ourselves better than others and learn to care for the disadvantaged. We are willing to put someone else first. In our own path, we are honest, clear thinking; we learn perseverance and personal responsibility for our own choices.
