September 15th – Parent Education Series: Part I

Informational session for parents, covering the following topics: Overview of Child Development, Montessori Philosophy, and Demonstration of Materials I.

September 22nd – Parent Education Series: Part II

Second informational session for parents, covering the following topics: Child Development, Montessori Philosophy, and Demonstration of Materials II.

September 27th  – Adjustment Conferences

Conferences will be held for parents and teachers of new students to discuss their adjustment to the new environment.

October 29th  – Vision & Hearing Screening

Illinois DCFS requires all children ages 3+ to receive a vision & hearing screening.

October 30th – School Pictures

     Capture your child’s early school years with their friends and teachers.

January 24th – Mid-Year Parent/Teacher Conferences

Learn about your child’s progress throughout the first 5 months of school, and discuss development goals for the rest of the school year.

February 20th – Parents’ Night

Do you wonder what your child does during work time? Come to Parents’ Night, and your child will show you what they are currently learning.

May 1st  – Spring Sing

Enjoy an afternoon of delightful entertainment as all the students take part in a musical performance, to be followed by light snacks and beverages (supplied by parents).

May 15th – Dayspring Olympic Competition

Let the games begin!  Cheer on our student athletes as they undertake amazing challenges where energy and enthusiasm win every time.  There will be awards for all.

May 16th – Year-End Parent/Teacher Conferences

Discuss your child’s progress throughout the year, as well as goals for next year. (Ages 5+)

May 19th – Family Potluck Picnic

Reflect on a wonderfully fun and educational year as the students prepare for a spectacular summer.  All family, friends, and relatives are invited!

     June 8th – Dayspring Summer Camp 2026 Begins

        10 Week Summer Camp: June 8. Monday- August 14. Friday
